This research investigates the rise of populist movements and their implications for democratic institutions. Through case studies and comparative analyses, we explore how populist leaders challenge established norms, erode institutional checks and balances, and influence public perceptions of democracy. By examining the consequences of populist governance, this study contributes to the ongoing debate on the resilience of democratic systems in the face of populist challenges.
