ABSTRACT
Urban heat islands pose significant challenges to urban residents and ecosystems. This study investigates the effectiveness of green infrastructure, such as parks and green roofs, in mitigating heat island effects. Utilizing temperature mapping and community surveys, we analyze the impact of green spaces on local microclimates and residents well-being, providing evidence to support the integration of green infrastructure in urban planning for sustainable and resilient cities.
