In the context of India, one prominent figure who played a pivotal role in advocating for social justice and championing the rights of marginalized communities is Dr. B R Ambedkar. He gave a broader perspective to social justice for his theory and vision of social justice covered each and every deprived section of society. The remarkable journey of Dr. Ambedkar from a victim of social discrimination to an admired leader and visionary is an inspiration for generations to come. His commitment to social justice, equality and the empowerment of marginalised communities is an integral part of the history of Indian society. Dr. Ambedkar has a profound impact on the country through his persistent efforts in reforming society and contributions to the Constitution of India. He emphasized the importance of education, empowerment and elimination of caste-discrimination in order to build a better society for all.
