The significant advancement of the last two decades is
the swift growth and extent of information technology in many areas. It is
widely used in education, economy, health, agriculture, social life, and
entertainment. Today, the internet is one of the vital learning environments
that delivers a new and rich style of learning to the students. The web
technologies’ penetration to lives both in formal and informal education has
twisted a need to study the numerous characteristics of this new way of
learning and exploring with different learners’ needs. This paper proposes an
Aspect Based Students’ Opinion Analytical System (ASOAS) for analysing
students’ opinion in digitalized higher education using big data analytics. It
presents a methodology for ASOAS and implementation of ASOAS. A recommender system for analysing students’
opinion with practical implementation is also presented.
