Evaluation of Unemployment in India – A Case Study on Pre and Post Covid-19 Scenario

ABSTRACT

Unemployment rate in India have a direct impact on progress of economy. Especially, the rise in unemployment rate will hamper the development of GDP and this will have further impact on nation’s progress. In view of the importance of unemployment rate, an attempt is made to review and evaluate the unemployment rate in India, impact of Unemployment rate, Inflation rate on GDP, correlation between GDP growth and Unemployment rate, Unemployment rate before and during COVID-19 period.
