Analysis of the Marketing Channels of Mango Crop in Yamunanagar District of Haryana

ABSTRACT
The present study conducted to find out the price spread of mango crop in Yamunanagar district of Haryana. The study based on primary data that were collected from mango crop grower farmers through a personal interview method with the help of a well-prepared pre-tested interview schedule for 2020-21. A sample of total 100 respondents (who grew mango crop) was randomly drawn from Yamunanagar district. To estimate price spread of mango crop, five market channels has been employed. The study concluded that price spread in context to mango was observed maximum (58.87 per cent) in channel –I followed by (53.29 per cent) channel-III and less price spread through the channel-V. Channel V is more efficient channel as compare to all other channels because of the fact that any functionaries was not involved between producer and consumers. Thus, marketing channel V of mango was more beneficial to farmers.
