ABSTRACT
The two chosen plays, Thus Spake Soorpankha So Said Shakuni and Inner Laws, are grouped together under the same heading in this particular piece of writing. The mythical characters from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the Bhagavatam are brought into the present day for the purpose of these plays, which are set in that time period. The characters were not given the opportunity to have their voices heard or to carve out their own niche in the annals of historys dominant discourses.
