ABSTRACT
Environmental awareness and sustainability lead to social development and change. To take notice of the action, to challenge social changes, art is a very significant and economical tool. In modern lifestyle, symbolic advertisement is gaining ground these days. This highlights the current problems that are otherwise neglected. The research aims at the impact of graffiti art on the viewers to reset their minds to acceptance in the development of a diverse society. The graffiti targets morality and values, conduct and traditions, socio-economic issues, and ethics which give an artist concept and logic. Here, the Research projects concern psychological and philosophical implications. During surveys, the case studies and observations of the Graffiti pieces related to social issues highlights the uniqueness of the symbolic graffiti advertisement. The details collected presents an opinion that society being dynamic, shuns the age-old rigid traditions and values and moves on to a safe and valuable life. Artists behave as participants as well as spectators creating a design that results in a cultural shift and re-evolution of society. The content and context catches the beholder without changing human emotions and their expressions. The aesthetical and psychological factors behind it depend on the capabilities and resources of the artist. Thus graffiti aims at preserving age-old values and human development. The future of this research can be carried out in the refinement of art appreciation in the human mind for progress in a social environment.
