ABSTRACT

This paper examines the impact of traditional and contemporary leadership styles on employee commitment in MSMEs in Chhattisgarh. The study employs partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyse the relationship.The studys goal is to shed light on the connection between different styles of leadership and employee commitment, offering insightful information for MSMEs seeking at improving both employee commitment and organisational effectiveness.The study makes use of a quantitative research design and gathers information from a sample of workers who are employed by different MSMEs and are measured using a standardised questionnaire. The data are analysed using PLS-SEM to determine the associations between the variables. This study will add to the body of knowledge on leadership and employee commitment in MSMEs from both a theoretical and practical standpoint. The research findings can help MSME leaders and managers comprehend the significance of leadership styles in promoting employee commitment and offer insights into practical leadership tactics for improving organisational success.
