ABSTRACT
The Judge’s role in achieving justice is irreplaceable. However, complete justice is ideal or merely a dream. But the systematic prevention of these issues of injustices prevailed in Indian judiciary especially in Supreme Court from judge’s perspective such as the ratio of judges to the population, access to justice depends upon access to technology, politicization in appointment of judges, delays in listing matters, need for Indianisation of justice system, separate panels for appointment of candidates in higher judiciary, difficulty in accessing justice to the common man, thought-provoking judgement, personal attacks on harming the Indian judiciary, pendency of cases, gender representation issue, the attitude of judges, corruption in higher judiciary and views on no corruption, judicial vacancies, contemptuous remarks against the judiciary, encroachment of legislature, executive, and judiciary into each other’s sphere, issue of time management – violation of the separation of power, remarks on current collegium system, ethical morality of judges, the problem of judicial conduct affects the credibility of judges, delaying justice, perspective of erosion of public trust, etc. will help in achieving the justice to greater extent.
Objective: The objective of the research paper is to systematically prevent injustices in the Indian judiciary/ Supreme Court of India.
Hypothesis: Systematic prevention of injustices leads to achieving a greater extent of Justice.
Research Methodology: Mainly doctrinal as well as non-doctrinal methodology has been used in collecting and analyzing the data. Non-doctrinal study includes interviews of judges.
Research Method: Probability Sample Method: Simple random sampling is used in which the author has randomly selected the judges who are sitting or retired from the apex court.
