ABSTRACT
Despite the fact that yoga has been practiced for a very long time, certain members of the scientific world have recently began to acknowledge the potential of yoga to treat a broad variety of issues related to both physical and mental health. Practitioners of yoga use a wide variety of techniques that are both diverse and comprehensive in nature. It is generally acknowledged that yoga has a significant influence on the treatment of a broad variety of psychological illnesses, which is one of the factors that has contributed to the professions reputation as an ancient type of psychology. Research has demonstrated that yogic approaches have proven to be effective in treating a range of mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and related issues. Furthermore, yoga has been researched for more severe instances of while numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of yoga, only a limited number have delved into its underlying mechanism. Furthermore, there have been rare instances where doubts have been raised regarding the validity of these claims, citing concerns about methodology or the absence of sufficient clinical samples. Yoga and aerobics have been rarely compared by many individuals. Although there are still unresolved questions, it is clear that yoga will remain a popular practice for people from diverse backgrounds in the future.
