ABSTRACT
Viksit Bharat@2047 has four main pillars: Gyan-Garib Kalyan Desh ka Kalyan, Empowering the Youth, Annadata - Farmer Welfare, and Nari Shakti. Among them Empowering the Nari is one of the crucial foundation of economic development. Women account for 48% of the total population in India, while they contribute 17% of the countrys GDP. Understanding the role of women entrepreneurs in economic development, both the central and state governments implemented a variety of schemes to assist and encourage women entrepreneurs in India. Motivation and push-pull forces are two variables that drive women to become entrepreneurs, although women entrepreneurs confront a variety of obstacles and challenges before and during their entrepreneurial journey.
