ABSTRACT
This systematic literature review (SLR) examines the factors influencing the intention to revisit medical tourism destinations. By analyzing a range of studies, the review identifies key determinants of tourists decisions to return, highlighting both positive and negative influences. Using the PRISMA methodology (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) and PICOC criteria, the study systematically evaluates and synthesizes the literature on determinants affecting revisit intentions in the context of medical tourism, drawn from highly indexed journals. The study provides insights into the implications of various determinants, offering valuable information for stakeholders in the medical tourism industry to enhance customer satisfaction and foster repeat visits. These findings will guide the development of strategies that medical tourism marketers can use to influence tourists decisions and improve destination branding.
